Evergreen Ford/Chevy has all my business from here on out. They have helped me a long time ago on my 1998 150, gladly helped me w parts foe my dyi front axle f 350 job and now match lowest price I can find on tires and give a cheap diesel oil change w service work. Hard to beat. I'll buy my next rig from them for sure.

Low price guarantee is a Ford program. It's not specific to Evergreen Ford. We all do it.
Also, $40 for an oil change on a diesel truck is a significant net loss for the dealer. Honestly not sure why or how they would do it. They must like working for free and then some.

They know I own two old chevy's and one old ford.

I only run steel wheels for this very reason

FACTORY STEEL WHEELS IS THE BEST IMHO.

Or go with Alcoa's.

They make aluminum rims rated at 3750lbs in a single wheel application.  And only weigh 24 lbs.

I will not drive on any other alloy wheel.  Period.

Warranty applies to original owner. However, defective/unsafe equipment failures is a different issue. SCHWAB guy said warranty is mainly one year on a cosmetic issue but, structural defects should be life time. Schwab has got to be a sizeable customer. If they can't get a supplier to warranty one good customers wheel....well??? I had shocks, alignment, airbags and brakes done there on the truck in the last month and did wheel bearings, new trailer wheels and tires as well. Also, last year had my ford in for alignment, shocks. So, it isn't like I'm not a customer. Well, so far it is unlikely I will be again. And the car/tractor hauler and horse trailer are needing tires so....yeah...they might lose a decent customer

Not a ton of benefit to allow wheels other than weight, and in light duty trucks the weight difference between that and steel isn't enough to make the argument.

Schwab has always been good to us. They fix flats for free on tires not bought from them just trying to get your business next time you buy tires.

I got shocks from Schwab. I had one break out here in ND. No Shwabs out here. I took a pic of it. They sent me a new one. I feel like that is going above and beyond.

Regards, Branden

Was the crack a defect?
Or was it from the vehicle being over loaded above what the rim can handle, by you or the previous owner.

I think on a semi truck and trailer going from steel to alum on all 18 wheels only saves 450 lbs or there abouts

Polished aluminum wheels also dissipate heat way better than chrome steel wheels.

I heard Les Schwab and Snug Top are in the middle of a corporate merger.

You can cut 300 LBS by just swapping the tractor over.  Polished aluminum wheels also dissipate heat way better than chrome steel wheels.

Alloy wheels give you more bang for your buck than most any other upgrade.
