I pm'd him back and told him not to run off.  We can all forgive a guy for embellishing a little can't we?   He may have to take a few shots but we'll move on.

I also chatted with him briefly via PM. I didn't mention the possible embellishments or anything...just chatted about hunting in general. Seemed like a pretty decent fella...at least as far as you can tell via a PM or two.

I agree with Killbilly and lowedog, I don't necessarily care about WHAT he did/didn't do in High School. In the short time I have been on this site I have grown to like it a lot...probably too much in fact. I would hate to see folks run outta town because of something like this. Heck, even the questionable scores and droptine don't necessarily faze me.

Unless there is concrete evidence that he did something illegal then I would like to give him another chance.

I'd like him back too...great bucks, and seemed like a great guy. Just somethings did not match up. No big deal.

It looked like he had harvested some nice deer to me, though the drop tine buck did look questionable after someone said something about it looking like he had used bondo to attach it.

maybe theres a reason that drop point looked like a two point glued onto the main beam

Kind of what I thought, was going to ask him to post some close ups of the droptine.

he bro no skin off my nose. I think it takes a good man to do what you just did. Tons of people lie on these forums but at least you had the nuts to set it strait. I havent been able to post on your thread until now but I will say that you have shot some great bucks, score doesnt matter in my house. Thanks for posting them.

Hey Rem :hello: Welcome to the site. There are some fellers on here that are generally only an inch or two off when scoring racks and thats even with limited views from bad pics. If your ever in need of an approx. score on something just post it, I'm will ing to bet it will be close to dead nutts on :twocents:

Anyway, no hard feelings here ;)

Hey bud, welcome back!

Anyone can make a mistake...it takes a man to admit to it though. I'm glad to see that you came back to the site.

Hey TMan, I'm not into kicking a guy when he is down. He appologized and wants a chance to repost the pics at better angles, a resonable request in my mind, let it be. ;)
