Right on congrats! Didn't mean to ruffle any feathers asking a simple question about a unit consisting of a lot of private property. I like to see people that don't have access to private property take a bull like that.

He definitely put in his time scouting on the state land to find them this summer and also his friend knows the area very well and they put there knowledge together and put the hammer down on this stud.

Yes the taxidermy scored him at 386 with the broken g5. If he was to match his right side he would be 393-394

I'm not 100% sure if this is him but I'm pretty sure it is . If I knew where he was killed I could tell you if it is him he was a traveler but I say him 3 weeks ago an he was hanging in an area I know well!

That's a different bull. That one is a typical 7 with matching kickers at the royals. The bull killed was a typical 6 with similar kickers.

How wide was he? He must've had a slow year cause he didn't get any bigger.
I'm not sure who your buddy is, but the end of short ridge is definitely not state groud. I haven't walked over there yet to make sure, but I'm 90% sure I know where that is. And it's not feel free to hunt. And from the sounds of it, you already knew that so I'm confused.
However, if I'm wrong then I apologize and congratulations on a great bull! I knew he was going to get harvested this year but I was still sad to see him go.

394" with the nominal 40" spread. The crazy thing is that he's a pretty young bull!
