Ok let's just imagine for a minute that Mr Buglin4Bulls left this morning and went catfishing or something...maybe on a shed huntin trip with JT or whatever. Then he comes home and cleans his fish or whatever and logs on to trusty ol' Hunt WA. Can you imagine!!

No point in going to old kill sites.  I think the quote of the year applies to kill site photos, "He's dead".
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

I'd say it is.

Anyone willing to wager wdfw took tissue samples from confiscated animal and carcass at kill site?

No point in going to the kill sight, but there is going to be a herd around the area and that will narrow down the scouting area by quite a bit. Finding the coordinates are on public land could speed up the killing process immensely. If in a permit area you will still need a lot of time and luck just to get a chance to make a kill.

I'm not going to do any of this, but it is interesting how technology has all sorts of unintended consequences.

Gosh I almost had to stop and make a bowl of popcorn before I got done catching up on this.
I'd chime in but "Landowner" has pretty much said everything that I had on my mind. Only he said it nicer than I would have.
Whoever made the comment about awkward thanksgiving and then "buglinforcows" deserves an award.

I have never seen that expression on a guy's face posing with a nice elk rack. Must be more to the story.

Just a little history on the shooter and the op. The op is my son and i take a huge offense to the faulse accusation that this bull was not harvested legally!! if you look at all of the posts my son and i have put on hw they are all honest and legal. My son was my guide on my Entiat tag last year. He has always been the guy who says i want to know where im at!! He goes nowhere without his gps and confidence knowing where landowner/private areas are and where he is. If this bull was illegally taken do you really think he would post here?? Really? Pull your heads out of your bungs. Sometimes deer and elk die on the spot, sometimes they run 5 miles. Do the math.

Interesting is right. Now dad has came on stating his case and leaves us with sometimes deer and elk run up to 5 miles. I would think dad would have son chime in and fill us in regardless how many posts they have and Entiat guided hunts they've been a part of. :twocents:

Still not taking sides by any means yet, but there sure have been a lot of Dayton country locals who have validity who have spoken........  :dunno:

I really hope it's a case of a fatally wounded animal crossing the line. It would be a shame if not
