A few from this weekend
« on: March 01, 2017, 12:30:22 PM »
Had 4 days of vacation to use up before March 1, so I took Thursday - Tuesday, and headed to the coast with my Dad. We had some people join us daily, but also got to spend plenty of Father/Son time on the water. It was a great time, many fish were caught. Here's a few we decided to take pictures of.

I did not this trip, unless you count nymphing under an indicator. Even that, I did very little of. I converted years ago to fly fishing only, and have slowly worked my way back, as time has become more limited. Also, when I'm fishing for wild fish, I prefer to use gear that I can really put the wood to them and land them quickly for a safer release. I know it can be done with fly gear, I've done it, its just more difficult.
