I got a really great deal in November (2013) when the dealerships only had a few of the 2013s left and were trying to get them gone.

I did not really care about color though.

Did all my shopping and negotiations online.  Never met or spoke to a salesman until I had a deal pending a test drive.

I guy I know put that stuff all over his Bronco. Let us know how it comes off a year from now. Nice truck.

My brother and I have done plenty of full car sprays with gallons and an actual gun, coated correctly and it lasts well over a year.

I've got a 2003 double cab with 4 wheel drive. V6. Only maintaining oil changes and now at 382,000 miles. It has been very reliable.

I like mine
2013
4.0 tows great good mileage and plenty of power to tow 18ft boat and 20 ft TT
I also dumped the diesel and downsized my TT, no regrets
so far the only thing I dont like is a serpentine belt squeak at start up that drives me nuts. then goes away

I've been shopping pretty hard and there isn't much dealing going on.  Silver and white look like the 2 hottest colors.  And of course my 2 picks.  The best deal I've been able to negotiate on what I'm looking for is a 2017 Double Cab SR5 4X4 in Silver.  They want just under $36,900.00 out the door.   I don't know if having my own financing affects my ability to get them down any lower( I've heard that if you go thru them they get a percentage of the interest back).  But I got an APR of 1.99 thru my credit union if I go 4 years.  They would only lock that interest rate for 30 days.

I bought a 2013 from Mike Pewitt  at the rodland certified used lot in Everett. He is a great guy and I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Ended up getting the wife a 2011 4Runner from him also.

Negotiate the sale price before discussing financing. When you get the price you want then tell them you are financing elsewhere.

Always.
I laugh when someone says 'I told them how much I could put down(big money) and they really got excited'.
More like opposite.
