Thought I would past a picture of my Stepdad's biggest deer.  Shot it in 1982 in the Newport area.  I inherited it in 1994 when he passed away and just had it officially scored at the Tri-Cities Sportsmans Show last month.  Official was 188 1/8 net, so it made the books pretty comfortably (if not for the broken tine, it would have made the all-time book).  I still have to write a affidavit and send in the fee to get it entered in B&C since I didn't kill the deer, but it should be published in the 2010 book.  First pic is of my 10 year old holding the rack, second pic is "long armed"

These are my best two Washington Whitetails.  I arrowed the first buck in 2002.  I hunted this buck for two seasons and had over 40 hours in the stand the second year.  It is an 8x7 that gross scored 153 6/8".  The second buck I arrowed in 2006.  It gross scored 143 3/8".

Awesome buck, Chad - Welcome.  Looks like his right main beam turned downward like the left side, but was broken off (?).  What was his final score?

You are right, it does.  I inherited all of my stepdad's racks when he passed, and I am working my way through them.  This guy's gonna be last though.  Don't want to tackle him til I know what I am doing.  Right now I am working on a 154" buck that he shot out from under me in 1989    Still got about 3 to go before I do this one...

I'd love to see your pics. Post 'em up. Lots of folks know where one of those photos was taken, but that wasn't where those bucks were shot. I just ran down the road a couple miles from the house that day and snapped a few photos while on the way to hang those deer in the cooler. Actually, the biggest buck in the back of the Z71 was shot somewhat near there, though. Actually, I have some more whitetail photos, but I don't post them because they do give away the kill sites so they'll just stay in the vault.

Looks like the Palouse.  Lots of white tails in those fields.

He did have a broken main beam on his left side.  It is hard to say if it turned down the same as the right main beam does.  He also had a large non-typical tine broken.  His official net non-typical score was 144 2/8".  He had 11 6/8" of abnormal points.  I posted another picture that shows the broken beam and tine better.
