Got my tractor today
« on: April 05, 2017, 07:23:37 PM »
The new Kubota BX23SLB was delivered today (brand new model for Kubota that replaces the long time BX25).  Front loader, backhoe, 60" mower, reverse tiller on the truck with it today. 3pt hole digger should be in next week. Things are a bit too wet to get real dirt work in.
Mowed the lower yard in 20 minutes where it would take almost an hour with the old riding mower. Scraped up the driveway to the point it looks like new gravel was laid down. Dug up some small stumps and moved some old RR ties into a pile. More work in 3 hrs tgan I would have gotten done in two months.
There is no greater respect to have for wildlife than to harvest an animal fairly and use it's flesh to feed your family.  ~me

I see lots of fun bells and whistles... Congrats. Love my orange...

NICE rig.  I am very curious what something like that would run as well.

I love Kubota, I have a T1560 rider that is so old I cannot remember when I bought it, 15-20yrs ago at this point.  Never done much besides replace belts, oil and fill with fuel.  She is finally feeling her age, but keeps on ticking.  Def looking to stay Kubota for the next and a rig like the BX23 looks about perfect for an upgrade.

I've had my BX23 for 10 or so years now.  Front loader, backhoe, and mower deck.  I couldn't imagine yard work without one now.  I would love to get the front mounted snow blower, but at $3k, the teenagers will have to do for now.

I would strongly recommend getting the BXpanded backhoe dolly and their front bucket dolly.

Enjoy yard work life for life now
