I'm just curious what scope you have on your backcountry rifle?

I have a VX3 3.5-10x40 on one rifle and a VX3 ultralight 3-9x33 on another. I have also used Burris scopes and like them.

Depends on the backcountry.  If going above timberline, or wide open spaces, then rifle with Swarovski Z5 5-25x52.  If lower elevations then rifle with Zeiss Conquest 3x9-40.  If thicker wetside wilderness areas, then rifle with Burris Fastfire red dot sight.

Im running a Vortex Viper HS-T 4-16x44 on mine for my all-purpose backcountry rifle, its not the absolute lightest one the market at 20 oz but its a great all around scope, with the clarity you expect from Vortex, the quality, and the warrenty
