The gettin's good on sierra trading post
« on: August 15, 2017, 12:35:12 PM »
Just an FYI.  Sierra Trading post is mostly backpacking stuff but sometimes has deals on hunting gear and apparel.  They've got some sick deals going on Sitka gear right now...

We have one in town. I go in every couple of weeks and find screaming deals. Literally 60-70% high quality stuff.

Thanks for the reminder. I used to get their little paper catalog a couple times per year, and has purchased from them several times.  I had forgotten all about them.

:yeah: let alone one in Silverdale!

I had completely forgotten about Sierra Trading Post!

Thanks for posting this! I have been looking around for a new day pack, looked at the link and low and behold a nice pack on sale!

They were super cool back in the late 90's. Quit following them some time ago. They used to send out a newspaper type flier all the time pre-internet. Probably hurting now Amazon is sucking all the wind out of everyone.

they recently got bought out by TJ maxx.  up until that point, they routinely had 50% off or more sales codes...not so much any more.

I get an email from them every day with new inventory.

My 90% pants arrived today. While the color is not my first choice I really like them. Couldn't get myself to try them at full price. Thanks for posting.

I went there today for the very first time.  At check out I was told I could save 10% if I had a TJMaxx loyalty card.

I don't shop at TJ Maxx, and I doubt that 90% of outdoors people do.  Wrong target market, folks.

Not much different from Outdoor Sportsman, in my judgment.

My merino wool base layers should be arriving tomorrow.  First time purchasing from STP.  I'll try to update everyone as soon as try them out...
