I put this post on my Scapegoat Enterprises Facebook page but I thought I'd put here as well since I don't get much traffic on Facebook (probably because I hate Facebook sooooooo much!

)
I was contacted by Nick, a good friend and former employee of mine, yesterday and asked to make a window decal for him. A close friend of his committed suicide last week and Nick was looking for an "in memory of" decal to honor his friend SSG Wayne J. Orona. I got it made up last night and met up with Nick this morning to get the decal to him.
I had a close friend ,and Veteran, who took his life one year ago this weekend; the timing of his death wasn't coincidental. He always struggled with Memorial Day for his own personal reasons which he preferred to keep private. He wasn't the first close friend I've lost to suicide and he was one of far to many Veterans who feel that's the only way out.
Everyone processes loss differently and I believe that everyone want's to be remembered differently when they're gone. My friend was a very private individual who would have preferred to go unnamed, but not forgotten. But for those who've lost somebody who they'd like to remember or memorialize, I'm going to start making window decals or shirts at no charge for anyone who's looking for a way to recognize a Veteran who they've lost. I'll cover shipping, materials, everything. All you need to do is tell me what you're looking for and where to send it. There's a time and a place to make a profit, but that doesn't involve somebody who's lost a friend or family member.
So in honor of my friend "Jordan" and SSG Wayne J. Orona, enjoy Memorial Day but take a minute to remember those who're gone and check in with those who're struggling.

The offer stands for anyone here on HuntWa who's interested. I'll make an "in memory off" decal or shirt for anyone on here looking to memorialize a Veteran they've lost. No charge, just tell me what you want and where to send it. This isn't a short time offer or a weekend special, the offer stands in perpetuity from this point on.
