Photos from the game

Score: Deer 2  Me 0

I think I have bad luck.

On the way up

Camp

Uphill

Scouting higher - Nothing but rabbits and one set of deer tracks. Should have had my bow. Rabbit soup is good. No deer in sight for me. Lots of snow.

Video - Snow

[stream=475,325]http://hunting-washington.com/cpg/albums/twisp/4.AVI[/stream]

I came out of the high timber since there was not much activity as far as snow in the tracks

Day 2 looking in another drainage. Lots of deer sign. No deer.

More glassing

Glassing back towards my previous day's journey

Fall Color

awesome pics, huntwa. guaranteed deer or no deer, it was better to be there than it was to be here.

Great story/pics even with no harvest. That first camp looked very cold. I would have burned a cord of wood that night.

I'm tired of taking pictures of scenery but oh well. That's the way life goes. That might be pretty much it for me as far as rifle season goes. I don't have enough time next weekend as the family has priority. And my truck isn't back yet so I may or may not go out this week..

Didn't hear anyone else take a shot all weekend. Surprising to me too.

Damn...it doesn't look like it warmed up any.  GREAT pics.  You may be tired of taking them, but I'm not tired of looking at them. ;)

No Ray you don't have bad luck. Hunting is hard. Animals appear at the weirdest times. Just remember Pacyew and I are ready to head out for late bow season. No guarantees but we will have fun.

I wish you folks would get it together and come shoot some coyotes.  I had over 20 of them around my house last night.  I guess its going to be up to me and BearmanRicks calls to gett the job done.  When I show up on here with a truckload of pelts in the back of my truck, don't say I didn't tell you where to go.

Well, as soon as I get this hunt done with my Dad and the furs are prime, we can organize something.
