South Africa countdown!!

In 12 days I will be boarding a plane for south Africa heading to my first safari. I think I finally have things in order and just have to pack a couple times to make sure I am good to go. I will be hunting Gemsbuck,Kudu,Impala and Warthog with my .300 win mag.

I just got back Saturday it was pretty awesome. I hunted all those listed and ending up shooting 2 kudus and 2 impalas instead of one I planned target rich area ha ha have fun!

Not sure I can make it through work today as I am just over 24 hrs before I board for my Trip.

My wife has been bugging me to vacation in South Africa (she has friends living there), but I told her I'll only go if I can add a hunting trip to the vacation as well.   So have been researching hunting in South Africa.  Please post how your trip went when you get back.

Good luck, you're going to have the trip of a lifetime. However, take some extra cash, unless you're very disciplined you may exceed your goal of four critters. I had planned on four animals as well ....... somehow there were 9 at the taxidermist's when it was over.
