Puget sound gunsmith
« on: September 13, 2018, 12:11:16 PM »
I'm looking for a quality gunsmith in the tacoma / puget sound area that could install a threaded muzzle-brake and do a trigger job on my centerfire rifle.

Thanks for the reference Bob, but I do not have a lathe. A job this critical would require a lathe and the ability to thread the muzzle perfectly in line with the bore.

Muzzle brake, I had them do two Kimbers $210.00 each out the door Brake, threaded timed and installed.
When I pass, do not let my wife sell the guns for what I told her they cost.

C.A.R Arms in Kent did a nice job putting a break on one of my guns. I would use them again for sure. Please let us know who you go with and how it went.

I also had C.A.R. Firearms out of Kent,Wa do a brake for me. Stand up guys and they did a great job. Was recommended by a friend that also was very pleased with the fit and finish of his brake. Turn around time was really quick. Which was very nice. PB

Another vote for Ed Lapour in Bremerton. He’s done a bunch of jobs for me over 15-18 years & always does a good at a fair price.
