How many times can you reload mag cases.

How many times can you reload magnum cases?
I have some cases that will that are tight to close bolt.I have been throwing all these cases away.
Can worn out cases effect accuracy?
7mm mag.

I have about 6 reloads on my 300 win mag cases.  I have had about 8 out of 100 originals split.  we just got an AMP Annealer though, so I am going to start annealing after each shot which should extend the life.

I have never had cases get tight, because they get worn out.

If you full length size them every time they might not last long. But they shouldn't be hard to chamber, if you're full length sizing. Are you neck sizing? I've been neck sizing only for my 338 Win. Mag., with a Lee collet die and I've loaded each case five or six times each now, but some are getting slightly hard to chamber. I have a Redding body die to bump the shoulders back next time I load up a batch.

Body die. For me cases aren’t done till the primer is loose or the case cracks which never happens cause I aneal every loading

could be the unsized portion of the case just in front of the belt, a google search shows a collet die meant to remedy this.  never tried it, as i sold my only belted mag earlier this year.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

I full length resize every time setting shoulder back about .002”.  I also anneal every firing. I have 10 or more load cycles on magnum brass. I don’t pitch it unless  the case won’t hold a primer anymore. Never had a split neck yet.

Thanks guys,I think I'm finding out the hard way about FL resizeing mag brass too much is not good.

I think I may try out this guys way of resizing just enough to chamber well.

I had this exact issue recently. My die got loose on me and wasn’t bumping the shoulders back during full length resizing of my .300win brass. Was stiff to chamber or wouldn’t chamber. I took cartridges apart, adjusted die, resized/reloaded the brass and now they chamber just fine. Bottom line, make sure your die is adjusted oer the instruction manual. I use Hornady Custom dies. Good luck!
