Quilomene Quality Rifle Deer Permit
« on: October 04, 2018, 08:26:56 AM »
Hi everybody, my dad and I drew the quilomene quality deer tag as partners this year! Already have some spots in mind to hunt, but open to any advice any of you may have, especially if you've drawn the tag in the past! Thanks.

Welcome to the site! It might be worth introducing yourself before asking for information.

Hey man, welcome to the site kind of.  Looks like you have been here for awhile.  Now that you have that first post under your belt you won't be able to stop.

I don't have any knowledge of the quilomene but hit the search button and few different threads should come up.  Hope for early snow and glass, glass, glass.

good luck and I hope you post some photos of how the hunt went and what you learned.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

My dad has the tag too. Where are your spots?

Congrats on drawing. You should have a great experience. Hoping to draw that tag before I cant hunt anymore!! What ever you do, put in the effort to make the hunt as special as possible for you and your Dad.

I hunt Chukar in that country and have seen some good bucks over the last couple of years. Even though we are making a ton of noise and not looking for deer. I will say though with that wide open country you should get ready to cover a lot of land checking out every draw. It's all good hunting. Good luck I hope you and your dad are able to make some great memories and you hold out for the buck of your dreams. (And find him)

I'd start on the edges of the timber . Find a couple doe groups and keep checking them

Ok! Yeah I mad an account here a long time ago but forgot about it. I'm a WA born and raised hunter, and I look forward to the discussions this forum holds.

Good Luck Branson I hope you can find what you are looking for. I saw a nice buck while bird hunting last weekend probably not big enough for that tag but he was a 4 X 5
