Is this the right guy? @coachcw
I use the high end Napa brakes & rotors on my 2004 2500hd & have been very happy with them. Even when pulling a trailer & loaded with the camper.
If you want to go above OEM, NAPA and other mediocre crap, skip it all and go EBC brakes. Sounds like you might like EBC Yellowstuff truck brakes. I've been buying EBC exclusively because I was impressed with their brakes and quality. You'll pay more though. I've done quite a few of my own brakes jobs and for my family, I'm not a certified mechanic. I haven't tried bendex.

OEM is its own stand alone category and is fine, unless a guy wants more stopping power than OEM or some other customized application, like my old 95 Dodge which didn't stop for crap on OEM brakes so I modified them to stop better and it does now!then NAPA and other (box store brands) are labeled as crap = below OEM then there's above OEM which there's plenty of brands, I choose EBC because I've used it several times and really liked them, but I haven't tried all brands in the category of "better then OEM"hope that clears it up
