Can not find a peep sight for disc extreme
« on: June 15, 2019, 08:49:32 AM »
So my buddy is getting into muzzy and he bought a knight disc extreme. I have a disc extreme and have a Williams FP legend peep sight on it and love it. Everywhere we look for one they are out of stock. Does anyone have any insight if they are making them still and if not is there any good alternative?  Thanks

A bunch of knights with the round receivers all have the same curvature and hole pattern.  You might not find anything listed as disc extreme, but only a couple earlier knight models.
Have you looked on Ebay?

Have you contacted William's directly?
I did that to get the front sight I wanted.

I bought a different peep. Williams let me back order the one you are looking for but didn’t know when or if they would get them in.

Right now the Williams FP Peep seems to be sold out every where! If you were to call Williams they have been saying 6 months before they will have them back in stock.  Even then it will not say that it fits a DISC - but it will say it will work on a Bighorn and etc.  Some times the bolt handle on a DISC will contact the sight and a small modification is needed to allow it to clear the sight - really easy.  You are looking for a FP Legend.

I think you can still find a few Williams WGRS peeps - they are not as user friendly as the FP but they work.  Another possibility is the NECG Peep for a Weaver style base. Again they work but not as user friendly.

Williams WGRS

Keep shooting muzzleloaders - They are a blast!!

Thanks for all the replies. It looks like he will have to get something else for this season at least.

I have a new William peep sight for an disc extreme I would be willing to part with. It looks like sabot loaders first pic, but its silver in color.

That would be great. I will let my buddy know and get in contact with you.
