Tagged out now.  Called in to about 40 yards with fawn bleats, INSTANT response, like maybe one minute and it was done, dead bear.  Thats both tags now done the low tech route.  No rifle scope, no binos, no range finder, no camo, no ecaller, no scent control.  Just an old .30-30, a wooden call, and a plaid shirt.

Couldnt hunt all week.  First bear was 4 days, this one i think a total of 3. NE corner is a target rich environment.  Especially now that we can hunt when the berries are prime.

Bango you are all that is man. Maybe I can convince you to teach me how to bear hunt? From A to Z. Never tried it and it seems awesome. Name your bourbon, Sir and I’ll bring a few bottles as payment.

That’s awesome Bango! Good stuff. Where have I seen that call before though? I feel like I’ve seen it in person...
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short.

Amen

Its a one of a kind, so unless youve peeked in my truck window and seen it sitting on the seat or something, probably not.  I think bmeyer might have posted it on predatormasters before he shipped it to me, maybe you saw it there.

I haven’t even had time to think about trying to take care of my skulls yet but I got these cleaned up. Just a little bit of a size difference.
