I was there just a few days ago. Literally not a single bottle of powder.. seemed kinda weird. All the other reloading stuff was out, but not a single powder.

All the other reloading stuff was out, but not a single powder.I was there the other day ( saturday morning ) and a guy asked a gal at the gun counter where all the powder was. She said all of their powders are locked up in back. She gave him a card with the list of what they had.Interesting, I wonder why they would do that? I guess I’ll go back and get the list! Also thought about sportco but wasn’t sure if they carried powders
I was told by an employee at the Federal Way Sportsmans, that the fire department came in, and told them they were only allowed 20 pounds of powder, on the shelf at a time.
Work Sports in Enumclaw sells powder. (next to the dodge dealer)
Most of my suppliers have ben told by fire Marshal that they can only have so much on display the remainder has to be in a fire proof vault. If you notice those that do have a large display of powder containers those containers are empty and you have to ask for the powder they go and get it from the vault "Ammo locker" as was th case at Hooked on Toys, Sportsman Warehouse in Wenatchee and the Big R/ North40 store in Omak

Did some new Washington state law go into place on this that I missed? It's not a federal thing, because I still can buy powder off the shelf in Oregon at Bi-Mart and Sportsmans there just fine (just bought more last week there). I haven't been to a Washington location of Sportsmans in 2020 yet. So just curious.

Not sure if new or just recently being enforced and was what happened last week when I was at Sportsman's and Hooked on toys and even harder to find 8 pound containers of H335.
