Only DNR land in eastern Washington is closed. I'm surprised WDFW hasn't closed their land.

I mean state land that is managed by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. From the photo you posted I don't know if that's DNR, WDFW, State Parks, Department of Transportation, etc.

Try looking here and you you'll be able to see most of the land owned/managed by the WDFW:

OnX shows up as State of Washington for the DRN, and I believe most if not all of them are managed by DNR.

https://www.dnr.wa.gov/publications/eng_rms_state_trust_lands_map_sm2.pdf?hbq2ig

Based on that map, it looks like a trust land, but would still be considered DNR.

The WDFW Wildlife areas on that map are considered Other Public Lands and are still open.

I called yesterday and spoke to a young lady at WDFW, and the Region 3 biologist last night. DNR lands are closed until at least Friday, but gates are open to all lands. You can access WDFW or other not closed land via DNR, you just can't recreate on DNR land right now (which includes hunting).
hopefully, they open it up Friday or Saturday. I didn't realize how many different entities own land? Look at the maps on "Places to Hunt" on the WDFW website and you'll see color coded maps showing land ownership. I couldn't tell by looking at it if private land was color coded? its not easy to tell what's what.

DNR on both the west and eastern side of the state?

Just DNR land east of cascades is closed
Libertarian at the federal level,
Republican at the state level,
Democrat at the city level,
socialist at the family level.

Any guesses based upon past experience when we are going to see DNR land open again?  I'd much rather be hunting "Plan A".

Probably won't open back up until there is significant rain.

Just saw a DNR news release, closure extended to September 17th. But I would expect they'll extend that further unless we really get a lot of rain. Most of the rain, if we get any, will be on the west side.
