I haven't killed any real giant animals yet...one of these days maybe...but I've had a lot of fun and made a lot of crazy memories stumbling my way through this stuff. I didn't have anything to add to this thread in 2007 except a handful of dink mule deer.
This are my "best" I guess.
Merriams from NE WA, Mule deer buck from SE WA, whitetail from SE WA and my WA OIL billy from the Goat Rocks in 2017.

.

That muley pic is classic! When I see that pic,
Heavy snow beautiful buck, the drag out was probably brutal, a lifetime adventure!
Love that pic!

Thanks. The 30 yard drag out to the truck was brutal. Totally road hunting because there was mostly zero visibility and got super lucky.  Sorry it wasn’t more glamorous.
:chuckle:
Definitely one of my all time favorite hunt pics.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Some really great trophies and stories here, thanks everyone for sharing. This is a great thread!

I've been blessed with many deer over my hunting career, mostly just average sized mule deer, but this is my personal best buck, a 2013 Whitetail.
