Put in for what ever you want...nothing says you can't put in next year with 18

If I was moving to Montana, I'm pretty sure Washington wouldn't be getting any more money..... but that does bring up a good question, what's it cost for a non resident to apply for permits   Maybe keep playing WaLotto for a good tag?
Expensive but non-residents are in the same hat so no limit on how many of the tags they can draw.

That seems like an expensive proposition to me, with not a lot of payoff.  I would try to burn my points in WA while you are still a "resident" by drawing something that has decent odds.  If you don't draw... I'd take a bunch of people's advice here and dive into being a Montana resident and don't look back.   :twocents:
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Pathfinder - agreed.  I was just pointing out that they still have the same crappy odds but at a higher price.

That's great.  What tag did he draw?

Mountainview added the state land 4-O ranch to that tag so enty of farm fields to hunt on . Wouldn't need horses for that section of that unit.  Central WA tags would be easier to draw with more available compared to the blues with single digits available for each unit.

But remember Washington is a lottery random draw . Points are just a catalyst to increase your hope not your odds.
Do you know with the 4-0 ranch if you can drive a 4 wheeler or side by side in?
