You Can No Longer Hunt Coyote With Hounds....
« on: April 29, 2009, 11:51:20 AM »
Have you noticed that they have made it illegal to hunt coyotes with dogs. I'm trying to figure out the biology on this one......coyotes must be in danger of overhunting????

What do you think???

I think you need to start a new thread and when you do, you will see an option for posting a poll.  I don't think it is possible to edit a current thread and add a poll to it.

BTW - somewhere on this forum is several pages of discussing this topic.  Found it: http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,25972.0.html

You can tell me in a message what poll options or I believe the topic starter can use the "Add Poll" link even after a topic has been started. It is at the bottom of the last reply on the right side.

"Reply", "New topic", "Notify", "Add Poll"

Please vote.....Let's see how hunters as a whole feel about this. We are a country of democracy, if everyone is against dog hunting, we may have to live with it. However if everyone thinks dog hunting should be allowed, perhaps there is something we can do about this.

Let your voice be heard.....Do we want another hunting activity outlawed?......Who's next????

Keep those votes comming in.......

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

when you get anti-hunters running fish and game, these are the kinds of things that happen. It is their perogative to get these jobs to push their agenda. While we are all making a living and having fun they are sneeking in and taking everything from us one season or coyote at a time. What do we do?

I think you are pretty correct about that all right.

Please be sure to vote on the poll if you haven't already.

I don't really care but, imo, hunting anything with dogs (except birds) is not sporting.  I'm not saying that it should be banned we need it for certain population controls, but I see absolutely no sport in it.

?. Don't the dogs kill the coyotes when they catch them? That is what I seem to remember from reading about it. If yes then I'm glad they banned it. If the "hunter" actually kills it then fine. I also agree with polarbear on the whole thing about hunting with dogs.

Sad to see that even here, folks who dont know a damn thing about it would vote to have it unlawfull. If we cant get support on this issue from supposed hunters here, what chance against the damn wdf and its F#%^&g peta partners, do we have? Some of you guys make me want to puke! :bash: :bash:
God is great, Beer is good, people are crazy.
