Here we go putting bear cub pictures and words like "Trophy hunters" on their site to portray a negative aspect of the Spring Bear Hunt. So typical of these anti hunting groups. I keep an eye on these clown anti hunting groups by getting their emails. The all come from the same direction.

If antis really wanted to save bear cubs, then they would fully endorse MORE bear hunting (spring, year round, OTC, etc.) for boars.  "Trophy hunters" want boars.  Boars kill cubs when they come across them.  When the sow is without cubs, she'll be ready to breed again sooner.  The way for the boar to have the best genetic survival is have the most cubs be his own, so he kills all the other cubs.  Lions and other animals do the same.  Want to save cubs?  Kill more boars!  But for the huggy crowd, it is all about money and feels.

In Alaska black bears and cubs are killed regularly by wolf packs.

Since when would an antihunter consider what's actually best for animals? About their only purpose on earth is to oppose hunting, fishing, and all sorts of other activities they think other people shouldn't be able to do! Their whole life is focused on forcing their personal views on other people!

We simply need to at least match the level of voice.  Completely take away the possibility for the commission to say public is in support of XYZ by counting comments.

WDFW suggested science supports a spring hunt.  Science "SHOULD" trump all else.  Anti-hunters as well as hunters are considered a special interest group in the matter and falling back on science should prevail, and this, they should be reminded of.   

Also, it has always been my observation a "tie vote" resulted in "status quo", not change.  How in the heck did they pull that off anyway?
