Out of respect for others all I can say was that it was killed on Friday the 13th in a quality draw unit. Some say she’s lucky but I am the one who gets to share my life with her and occasionally tell the story of the hunt. But only when she’s not around.

Totally understand, still incredible buck!

This one I remember seeing in the spokesman review 3 or 4 years ago I believe. They said Ferry County in the original article I believe but some of the internet seems to think stevens.. Figure if it's already out on the interweb it's OK to post. Hog right here

I won't say a lot about it.
But that was the idea behind the 4pt min/117-121 GMU.
Cause NE Washington you have archery late hunt 101.
You got late muzzle loader 113.
4pt min modern rifle 117/121.

Basically you would have an OTC tag for every weapon type with trophy potential.
For whatever reason rifle hunters just can't get on board with that. With lots of meat bucks for freezer.
Some of those late hunts archery and muzzy still pull some nice ones out for sure.

I was just looking at this old monster HW post.

My daughter shot this 183 inch gross typical at the age of 17 on opening day in a general area (not a draw tag) in Grant county in 2010. 28 inches wide. It made for a happy daddy-daughter date!!!

Not really legendary, but a lot of character. Too bad he broke off his 10 plus inch droptine.

Looks like a an old fighting s.o.b
