If you are looking to hunt the lower country, there isn’t much left.   I’ve never seen anything like it in my 42 years…

Ive got the Palouse tag as well.  Pretty slim out there.  I didnt get out to hunt the the normal rifle season this year, but I cant remember seeing a whitetail where I hunt in many years.  So ill be driving around looking for new areas as well.
Right wing shooter, I aim for the left!!!

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

I usually hunt closer to Spokane. Just putting feelers out there.

Good buddy that lives and farms a ton of ground in the Pulman area....told me last night that he thinks blue tongue took 95% of the whitetail population from the areas they hunt.  Areas that would hold hundreds of deer, they have seen less than a dozen.  All of his family decided not to hunt deer this year for that very reason....he said it is the worst they have ever seen.

Hope tag holders can find an area that was not hit that hard...otherwise it could be a very tough year.

I have a place in 133.  Only saw one doe whitetail in 7 days of modern.  Usually we see 10+ per day.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.  Whitetails got obliterated in Palouse last year.
Introduce someone new to hunting this year.

That's probably not far off.  I am seeing between 15 and 20% of the whitetailed deer that I normally see on my normal runs, hikes, drives, etc. here in the Palouse.  I didn't hunt last year in the WA Palouse, didn't again this year, and probably won't for another year or two!

It's bad timing!  I've been putting in for buck deer points for years to save up until my kids started hunting.  I had big plans to put in as a group.  Now they are hunting and the deer population is in the tank!
