What an interesting set of photos!  I especially like the last two images, which show in great detail the individual claw marks.  Thanks for sharing your peel with us.

Tom, some may undoubtedly be claw marks, but bears do a lot of the peeling with their teeth...scraping the cambium layer into there mouths....
