We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

“We’re very pleased with today’s decision that affirms Ms. Smith has been violating state law for more than two years while crafting policy that undermines scientific wildlife management and damages the state’s traditions of hunting and fishing,” said Todd Adkins, the organization’s vice president of government affairs. “It’s reassuring to see that law still matters in Washington state, something the Fish and Wildlife Commission would do well to remember in the future.”

Fantastic statement

I loved this comment from Andy the author

“Smith did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but when she does, I’ll fold it in.”

Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Understand the Commission may lose Molly Linville and Lorna Smith may cure her violation as a result of this decision.

Well, we should be following the anti-playbook now and sue the Governor's office, and Lorna for willful violation and to censure all decisions and votes of her tenure.  Reversal of spring bear would be good start as her illegal held position as proven to damage sportsman opportunity and access in direct violation of state Constitution.

How so? Linville serves on a school board which is not county, state or municipal, therefore it doesn’t effect her.

All the commission would do is a re-vote with the same outcome.

I just live in reality. Even if Smith is booted, all Inslee will do is reappoint someone exactly like her. If she stays on, nothing changes. If she stays on and her previous votes are void, the commission can re-vote and we'll likely have a similar outcome.

This is the likely unintended consequence of this lawsuit.
