Rattling

Is a good old set of deer antlers the only thing for rattling or is there a decent product out on the market? Looking to get something for this coming fall.

I like antlers but, I've rattled bucks in with a rattling bag as well. I think if the bucks right, he's coming either way.

There’s lots of fake rattling products on the market that work.

I personally like a good pair of natural antlers (brow tines sawn off for your hands' sake), since you can thrash or rake brush and saplings with them as well as rattle.  Also, you can add some pattern to the rattling to simulate a pair of bucks "locking up", pushing, and "breaking apart".  But people can and do rattle bucks in with rattle bags.

I personally believe in the real thing. I've tried synthetics with zero success. Rattled in probably north of 200 with a set of sheds I found about 25 years ago.

Any cats show up while rattling? Still trapping the bobs?
If I need a permit and education to buy a firearm than women should need a permit and education  before getting an abortion.

Voting for Democrats is prima facie evidence you are a skirt wearing, low T, beta male. Do better.

Not that I'm aware of.  :chuckle:  Coyotes though, and I can't not shoot them.  8)  Yep, still getting bobs.
