Too Funny Fred, I was going to recommend Gletty and over into the Winchester. Its been a while, but I jumped two bulls together in there in November... one was a 160+ bull...the other a 140ish... Beautiful moose country for SURE!

Goddard Peak, Winchester Creek, Nine Bark Road, Power Peak, clearcuts at daylight and at dark that contain willow and ceonothus. You won't have any problem finding a moose but you have to be out there at primetime since they often bed down during most of the warmest part of the day. Watch for willows with the tops broken and hanging down and you'll know you are in moose country. Why, I even had a cow moose in my back yard 2 weeks ago in Kettle Falls, that was a first. They are just about everywhere here in the NE part of the state.

Anyone know how the antler growth is right now. I want to start scouting but I want to be able to see what the bulls have to fully offer.

At this point you would just want to be more interested in what logging is going on, roads that are gated etc.  You are a long ways out from October and where they will be.

plus they are about 90% nocturnal.  Though the temps are moderate, Moose HATE heat.

I got the cart from Cabela's, and made the goose neck for the bike myself.

I just bought my sons (moose) a couple of days ago. Today the game dept called and said there was a missprint. They said they needed to call everyone and let them know that the fees will go up .50. So we had to void that check and write them another one. They also said they are a couple of weeks behind on getting the packets out to everyone but should see them soon. :dunno:
I hope when I die my wife doesn't sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them.
