Read almost any thread you've ever started or participated in and your ex partner is mentioned like 75%+ of the time. Maybe not this thread specifically but a vast majority of the time. You're incredibly negative about waterfowl hunting and seem to look for anything to blame besides yourself. We are masters of our own destiny. You can complain and blame or you can grab your shotgun and go kill birds. It's that simple. Does it take a bit more effort than it used to? Maybe. But there's endless amounts of opportunity on public land there for those willing to go and get it. Full stop.
:yeah:
Your old partner lives in your head rent free & probably doesn’t even know it.

He must be in your head rent free as well because he represents your sport poorly.  Thanks for your dedication!

But deflecting is EXACTLY what you are doing. You blame everything but yourself for your lack of success.  That's the very definition of deflection.

Blame your mom and dad.

Oh I'm painfully aware but good God at some point someone has to say it out loud because we've all been thinking it for a long time now :chuckle:

Ignore bad advertising and it will go away like the Beef Lady. Wez gonna kill a bunch of public ducks this year and lookin forward to every minute of it. OP goose kid gets to wait an extra year for trigger time but seems to have a positive attitude and gets to enjoy the outdoor regardless. And, doesn't gotta buy a license! Exactly the folks we need joining the ranks in the field.

I think this is a good video for everyone especially the younger Instagram & social media hungry generation to see.  Stupidity is not without consequences.  Dreaming of big pile pics vs. reading the regs first, cost him a lot of money and a reality check.  You rarely see influencers eating humble pie on social media.
I see just how many folks don't read the regs every year in my area.  Early goose, you will see young guys open up on flocks of specs coming into the spread, which is closed for early goose.  I know of two individuals that have been ticketed for this due to posting pics on social media afterwards.  How many people have hammer ducks & geese on the split?  Where duck is closed & when the goose is closed.  Witnessed both several times.  Once guy even came back to the ramp at HQ with 3 dark geese on his bow of his boat during the closure. Moral of the story, read the regs, sign up with the WDFW e-mail to get updates on emergency closures as well.  Always good to look at the WDFW if you don't get those e-mails weekly during the season to see any new updates.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
