From the time we headed out after him to the time we walked up on him dead it was 52 minutes according to her social media posts. :chuckle:

It did go the way I planned it but it is really rare for things to actually go according to plan.

Congrats, nothing like spending time outdoors with the ones closest to you.

How wide is he? I would guess 26" or so?

Dandy buck!!! Some of my most treasured hunting trips and experiences were and still are with my kids, now my grandkids.

Congratulations on a great buck and an awesome experience you will tuck away forever and think of often.👍👍

Nothing better than hunting with your kids. I said it the first time she shot a deer when she was nine, I’ve said it a lot and I’ll say it again, I don’t care if I ever harvest another animal if I can be there and watch my kids succeed at hunting that is all I need for the rest of my life.

I could not agree more!  I haven't shot a deer since 2017 but we have put quite a few in the freezer!

Congrats on a great memory and fantastic buck!
