What a surprise!   I guess everyone contributing  when buying your vehicle license tabs is not enough,  LOL.   Never have, never will.   They figured out another way.

Well, we have to get the money somewhere since we’re gonna let all the marketable timber on state land rot or burn. I imagine this will continue to go up over the next few years as our opportunities for hunters go down. I still cannot believe that up theGrove is our land manager. Freaking ridiculous!

State donates 58 million of dnr lands and then raises cost of discover pass after once again restricting further access. Hmmmmm

When you waste your money you run out and pay the consequences. When the State wastes it's  money it raises taxes as not to pay the consequences.

Taxpayers are always on the hook for the actions of government dimwits.

Shut down logging and the revenue from that, increase discover pass (a tax on the people), you can certainly tell a Democrat is running state lands!  :bash:

With the state looking at a 10–12-billion-dollar shortfall they are looking to make money anyway they can. It won't be from making reasonable decisions, that is just silly, so it must be on the backs of the working class.

As a state employee this has been a topic of great concern lately. One of the things that I found interesting is that our past idiot governor made the great decision to force all state agencies to buy from "local, DEI, women owned, veteran owned, ext..." business. Sure, on the surface it sounds good, but it effectively raised to cost of nearly everything I know of by at least two-fold. It's been a nightmare for ordering.

What a hellhole run by lunatics as usual.
Damn shame, because it's inherently a beautiful state!

Would never live there.
