Looks like about half the tag holders are on here. I have the tag as well. Plan on being over there as much as work will allow. Always willing to help. Will hopefully have some extra hands with me that could also be of assistance.

I’ve packed plenty of elk. I know they are a bit heavier than elk.  Yeah if your close to road and I had one other person I wouldn’t be calling for help, but I don’t want to limit myself to only places I can drive or being close to the road.  I’ve used cable before and always did want a chainsaw winch like look might be used in one of the posts, but even with those if your miles in won’t be help much.  There’s spots i know I’ll be in few miles from nearest drive to road access. I’m in shape and wouldn’t be asking for any help on something easy, but more people can make a hard job a bit easier.

FWIW..... I would not want to be packing moose parts for miles. They are considerably bigger than an elk. IMHO, you will regret shooting one "miles away from a road"

I killed one in 13, was 100 yards from the truck where it died, still took me 5 hours to get it all in the truck.

22 ish hours from the first trigger squeeze to everything in the bed of the pickup. I want to say we were right at a mile and a quarter.
