Alpine Meadow Bear Hunting and Hikers
« on: August 05, 2025, 09:07:05 PM »
Looking for a good area up in the alpines, problem is that there are a lot of hikers, does everyone hunt close to hiking trails? Venture off? What should I be doing when hunting in the alpines?

Would using them as bait be illegal?

There are far more bears in places that don't have high traffic trails though them than do.

Avoid them not just for solitude, but for better hunting.
You will never shoot a camp bull by spending all your time hunting in the woods.
