first archery elk in the bumping

I shot my first archery elk friday morning. 45 yard lung shot she ran about 70 yards and died.

I love that area,may swing over that way and poke a cow the last day of my season if I can't tie down a bull. Nice animal
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

That a good looking cow batsquatch.  Should be good eating thats for sure.  Your on a roll this year.  A Bear and an Elk already and the season is just getting started.
