Woodies!
« on: December 22, 2007, 04:49:13 PM »
got a couple woodie pics today.....crappy light just like every other day I am out.  i wonder what they thought of that big black and white snowball taking their picture.  Everyone shooting at them wears marshland camo, so they weren't used to me.  Maybe I should wear hunter orange next time.

Bone,

Beautiful photos, we've been looking for a pair of those for a couple years to go on my kids wall with this.

COOL, I tried to capture some in flight, but definately not as talented as the other duck photgrapher on here.  I guess they were leaving instead of coming in, that might have something to do with it, but it hats off to those guys.  Do you think maybe he might be interested in duck hunting?

anyone interested in what we are talking about with jpeg and over compressing a photo, look at the barred feathers on his wing area.  Those are fine on the original, look how they are distorted on the compressed 800 version.  I didn't start shooting in RAW today as I don't have a program to work with it.  Best Buy didn't have CS2.

Great looking ducks. Would look even better next to the mashed potatos.
