Visiting a site I don't often get too, I saw a hunter had posted at least one, perhaps as many as three clearly illegal animals bragging about them. Still burns me up. I called them on it and got no response, so I'm assuming they have no rebuttle. would you report it?

Hope you don't mid me posting it. If a couple of them suckers are legal it is close. I guess you cant always tell by a picture. Maybe there is an extra point or two that we cant see. Hope they are legal, not going to blatently say they are not though because I have been proved wrong a time or two in my life

I saw this a couple months back scanning through MM and was wondering the same thing. I dont see the post there now, but someone actually called the guy out on it and clearly mentioned that Mule deer must be 3+ points and 2-3 of them dont appear to be that. The guy who posted it wrote back and said that if you look clearly you can see a small cheater point on one and the other 2 point in plain site has an eyeguard he said (I have good eyes and can't see Jack!!! for an eyeguard). I would write enforcement and have them take a look. Doubt it'll ever get anywhere as pictures most likely aren't enough evidence, but worth a shot.

Those were the two I was wondering about too. The 3rd one from the left does appear to be legal to me, the right side (our right side) antler appears to be non-typical and has 3 small points. But the 2nd from the left appears to be a two point to me, there may be a small eyeguard, but hard to make out, if there is one i dont think its an inch. The other bucks there that have eyeguards clearly have them and are easy to make out. I turned in a guy once that shot a buck like that two point in that photo and it had a small 1/4 inch eyeguard and he claimed it was an inch. He was wrong, got the animal taken and went to court, of course he won due to the game warden making a mistake in the paperwork.

Yep. The buck in the back by the fawn whitie definitely looks illegal. That is unless there is a special "any deer" tag. I think that I can see a third point on the little one in the front row.

yeah the second from the left looks the only illegal oen to me but illegal none the less. I know that there is a ton of huge whiteys on the rez and some big muleys too a 38 inch one shot on the rez in nov I personally thought it was an ugly deer but big.The rez is full of big deer you just ahve to hunt the right areas and be willing to do work but many just hunt from the road but some will hit the woods and those are the ones who shoot the big ones..

Yup, that's the one. For the record, I did check and there are no special hunts or tags of any kind during the modern firearm opener in that area that allow for a 2 point buck. I would just say that if all of us with good eyes, not looking at the deer when it was alive and likely moving at least a little say it does not look legal, well, then at very the least the guy doing the shooting was a "shoot first, make sure it's legal 2nd" type of person that I wouldn't hunt with. Sorry to bash publicly, I wasn't going to post the thread, but since the cat's out, there it is.
