Reflection Taxidermy in Eatonville, WA ???????
« on: March 19, 2010, 11:56:07 AM »
Has anyone used this taxidermy service.  The guy is Jesse Palmer.  I sent a Brant down to have done last April.  It was supposed to be done in August, then Nov., Jan., Feb. and so on. I tried to call.  His number is now disconnected and I get no response from e-mail.  If anyone knows the status of this shop that would be great.

I do not like to talk down on other taxidermists, but very very bad. Guy has screwed a lot of people over.

Do not just take my word for it, talk to Charlie, or Michelle also.

We have all been on other websitesd, helping people not get screwed over by him. He has taken pictures of other taxidermists, posted them on forums as if they were his own. This is the third taxidermy business that he has started up.

Sorry H20, that gy was bad, he was trying to do wholesale work for a bunch of different taxidermists from other states, and took all their birds and money and never sent anything back. And like said he was using other taxidermists pictures to post showing how good of work he could do...

Sorry totally spaced it in the PM I sent back to you h2ofowlr.

Yeah the guy is a piece of work and was using other peoples work and passing it off as his own work.  Wen confrunted he admited to it and said that he only used them to show people the quality of work that he does.  Which is complete *censored*.

I would be suprised if you either see your bird again or it looks 1/2 way decent.  If someone has to use other peoples work as there own they either are completely stupid and can't use a camera or their work isn't good enough to show.

Sore subject with me.

H20, Good luck with all of that. I wish I had one in the freezer I would gift it to you. They just don't come around that often as you probably well know. I probably dated myself using the term blanket party. For all of you young ones it's where you find the guy and throw a blanket over their head and beat the living sh*t out of them. The reason for the blanket is they can't press charges if they don't know what they looked like  :yike: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

That is to nice, we used to use, a roll of quarters in a sock, they only needed one whooping until they straightened out or went AWOL.

H2Ofowlr, I checked all my connections and can't find anyone that has an extra Brant to gift.  I hope this turns out for you, but it doesn't look good. :(  Keep us advised on how it's going.  John

Latest Update from a guy with 3 posts on another forum:

This is why I will nolonger post on Taxidermy.net or why I don't joing forums like this one.
Can you not read....
1) He will refund the money, he thought mike had mounted it.
2) He sold the shop to Mike
3) He finished cancer treatments, his Doctor told him he should move.
4) He is not asking for anyone to send him any birds or money.
5) He is building a new shop, new equipment.
6) He would never had known this if one of his new customers did not bring it up to him and then Jess call me.
7) He did nothing wrong, put on his shoes, read everything. He sold the shop, sold the work, did not know anything was wrong and wishes to fix it.

Write what you wish, this guy will always be a stand up guy in my book. I'm done with people that are here, don't know anything and just put people down for WHY?

If you did the same, would you know that a customer did not get his bird finished or lost his deposit. Would you get to the bottom and tell the customer, hey I dont have your deposit, but I will be glad to refund it out of my pocket anyway, because I dont want you to think I did something wrong. As soon as I get the address, he will send the deposit.

SWHunter, I believe the guy that screwed the ears to the antlers was Jess Carr......this guy is Jesse Palmer.

I hope there are no other taxidermists (that are good) out there with the name Jess or Jesse.  Those two clowns seem to have made that a bad name. :o
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.
