yeah i am sure there are a few thousand anyones that did. but not me i thought about it but decided to say hell with it and not worry about drawing a buck tag when i can hunt my own ground.

lol good point, well the desert unit is like my back yard i coyote hunt it all the time, i got a spot near it my buddy farms and has seen a cougar run out of their junk pile so that will be fun this year too, getting ready for bait stations!

No, odds are too low. With only two choices I wouldn't waste one of my choices on a permit with impossible odds like that one.

yep good luck with the predators, i know some guys that do real well over there yote hunting

yeah those dogs out there are really call educated, too many people hunt it, if you hike way out with a shotgun tho you have pretty good chances

nothin like shotguning yotes love the tall sage when you see them 75% of the time i can shoot them

haha yeah its fun they will come in right on top of you if you can keep the ticks and mosquitos off you without moving, i go like 100% covered up out there

If i draw it can i get a hint on where to hunt it i have never been there???

put it in for my second choice. i figure if its going to be luck it might as well be full on BS luck

Yep, just to make it harder for everyone else....  Basically I started with 0 points thanks to drawing my second deer (100% chance) last year and our illustrious game department's decision to start all categories with last years' points.  So, instead of applying for points only I put in for Desert only.  Maybe I'll be lucky, I drew a Margaret archery with only one point many years ago....

of course! for the right price! lol j/k definately ill let you know some good spots to go its a big area! if you do you will definately have to come over and do some scouting

I had the exact same thinking.  This is the first year I haven't had Desert A as one of my choices.

yep sure did, I figure if I will ever get luck one time in my life then that will be it.
