Shooters?
« on: July 22, 2010, 08:11:55 PM »
I was out hiking the other day and was wondering if I was close enough to take a good bow shot on these?

Glacier?

I'd say you were close enough.

OK, OK, maybe I'll just sharpen a pencil to use as a weapon.....   :chuckle:

Good call Bone, we were up at Logan Pas a couple days ago.  Beautiful area, better get there before the glaciers are gone, ten years they say.

Much closer and you would have been like that woman that got her a** kicked at Yellowstone by the bison.  Great pic.   :chuckle:
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I grew up there, and not that they are not decreasing in size, the glaciers, but I've been hearing that same speech since I was on my 2nd grade trip.  Heard it again last summer when I was up there at the visitors center.  First time I heard it, it was given by an older gentleman, last summer it was a 22 yo kid with dreadlocks halfway down his azz and 12 chin hairs.

Great looking pics by the way, it's always a beautiful place up there.  Much better now that they have the length limit on vehicles on the Going to the Sun road.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.
