Should have listened - Cousin W/BBD
« on: October 25, 2010, 11:47:49 AM »
Should have listened to my cousin, a month ago he called me up and said he has a few blacktails spotted and I should stay on the wet side for the opener. Told me he had a 4x4 with big drops on each side and a 5x4. I thought about it but decided to go East to the property instead. Here is what I missed out on! Although the 4x4 with drops is still alive  ;)
The bigger one dressed out at 190Lbs! Bases are 5"

Mass is my favorite characteristic too.  If it were up to me, I would score racks by how much water it displaces, not the way it is traditionally done.  That way a big old masher 3 point could compete with a younger thin horned 5x5.
