Should have listened - Cousin W/BBD
«
on:

Should have listened to my cousin, a month ago he called me up and said he has a few blacktails spotted and I should stay on the wet side for the opener. Told me he had a 4x4 with big drops on each side and a 5x4. I thought about it but decided to go East to the property instead. Here is what I missed out on! Although the 4x4 with drops is still alive
The bigger one dressed out at 190Lbs! Bases are 5"

Those are some dandy buck!
As Charlie stated those would have been some dandy capes, $150 (or free antler plaque) with there heads cut off!
You have to be a taxidermist to understand.

Mass is my favorite characteristic too. If it were up to me, I would score racks by how much water it displaces, not the way it is traditionally done. That way a big old masher 3 point could compete with a younger thin horned 5x5.
