We visit my Dad every year in Houston TX during spring break and always slip in a little Hog or varmint hunt in the Roman Forest area. This was 2006.
Good times, she used my 300 WSM and knocked it down at 170 yrds. Like a pro, she proceeded to gut and skin it with a little guidance by herself. You should have seen the looks on the faces of her Cheerleader squad when she told her story.
Makes a Dad proud

Iceman - 2 of my 3 boys will be out for the youth turkey hunt this weekend also. The 10 yr old (seen with pheasant and grouse) hunted last year during the general spring turkey hunt but didn't get one and the 9 yr is hunting for his first time (with gun that is), so they're both itch'in for that first bird.
Hope to have some more pictures to show by Monday too!! Good luck to you and your kids!!
