what's the recoil like with the rifle? .308 in that short of a package is neat! and a beautiful bear!
recoil is light for a .30 cal. the plane of the barrel is even with but of the gun so its a push-back, the flash hider vents all the gas up so muzzle climb minimal, very quick fallow up shots- just make sure you have good hearing protection.
Is that considered a SBR (short barrelled rifle) or pistol?
No Kel Tec designed it to pass Fed. regulations and regulations in most states (legal in Cali w/ some modifications) 18 1/2" barrel and 28" over all length.
I'm going to get it camoed at NWhydro print and replace the issued 20 rd. mag with a 10 rd. try and make it look less tactical - get less "why are you hunting with a machine gun?" questions.
