Awesome buck, beautiful country.  Anybody know the approximate area where it was killed?  Public or private?

I'd guess John Day area. Just a guess but that's where John Cole hunts. I know he has access to a lot of private land so I would also guess that it was private. But again, nothing but a guess.

I have a buddy who lives next to Les's place in Prineville and had hunted with Les and his relatives.  He has been saying for years that when he dies he wants to be reincarnated at Les Schwab's grandson.  The guy has every toy known to man and hunts & fishes all over the place.
Awaesome buck by the way!

Looks like John Day country to me too....
