Just living with that would be worse than life in prison or the death sentence.

I don't know if I would be able to go home and tell my wife. That has to eat at you every day.

Unbelievable. That is what scares me about public land hunting.

Heres what I dont understand....movement equals turkey?  Perhaps in your wildest imagination if someone was even dressed like a turkey slithering around you would know it wasnt real or something just wasnt right about it.  So if it was a hen he would have blasted it? I just dont understand how that can be an accident.  Its sad and stupid.
Vegetarians?..Vegetarians are cool.  All I eat are vegetarians....except for the occasional mtn. lion steak.

I don't know about you, but when I get seperated from my hunting partner NO SHOOTING occurs until we are back together unless we seperated intentionally and know for sure which way the other went or is going and even then we are extremely carefull. "You are responsible for your target and beyond".

I cannot make a judgement for or against the father without knowing all the circumstances, maybe he is like me and sort of anal about safety in the woods and this is a horrable accident and the kid was hiding behind a decoy ??? or maybe he is a redneck and don't give a crap, but now that he shot his son maybe he will be more like me. I really hate to see kids killed by the ones that are supposed to be protecting them intentional or not so hopefully the father will learn from this and teach others the meaning of SAFETY !!!

Sad times in their home for sure !!
The essense of freedom is the proper limitation of government !!!
