Ghosted everything but antlerless elk and 2nd deer, all westside apps. After many years of archery and  holding out for that "bigger elk" and my personal challenge of " I don't shoot cows in September". This year I am going for meat only     and I thought the muzzleloader season is the way to go with some of those antlerless tags.

southeast corner.......16 points for quality elk. We'll see but not too confident, the same 3 tags last year went to guys with 6, 4, and 2, points. Nice draw system WDFW.

It is a good draw system!  U always have a chance. I sure wouldn't want a system like UT or CO etc

The reason people with relatively low numbers of points draw good hunts is because there are a lot more people in the draw with low points. The system is working just fine.

I'd like to see it like Idaho, with no points!  or maby leave the quality tags to people with 8 or more points.... that sounds good to me.  Yes I would feel the same if I had 1 point, or maby a 5 year waiting period after drawing a quality tag.  Just my opinon.

Do you really think the system is working just fine when the only 3 tags offered in a quality elk unit all go to guys who have only that few of points when the rest of us have been waiting some 8 to 16 years?  I know I don't have to apply for the tough tags but I think the guys who have put in for over a decade should atleast pull one or two of those tags. There has to be a better way to draw!

Yes I do. The only thing better would be no points at all.

Can't we at least wait till the draw is over to complain about how unfair it is?

I've waited 16 years, I would think that is long enough to have the right to start complaining don't you think?

No!  Obviously you are applying for the toughest to draw hunts.  It's like complaining that you can't win the lotto.
