The killer dogs of Stevens County are dead
« on: June 14, 2011, 12:40:01 PM »
UPDATE: Stevens Co. dogs killed; was one a wolf hybrid?

A vicious dog pack responsible for killing more than 100 domestic animals in the past few months will kill no more. They are all dead.

I know of one dog that killed a Sitka Blacktailed deer out in an open area.  It was a shepherd X Rodesian ridgeback female.  Goats in a fenced pasture or pen haven't a chance against even 2 dogs and one looking like a wolf X.

Glad those are dead.

Can't stand how the News always reports "..dogs are allowed to run free in Steven's Co. as long as they behave...." HORSEHOCKY.

Nobody wants anyone else's dogs on their property, but its only enforced by owners that catch them.

I agree littletoes, we have a lot of wildlife that is chased, harrassed, and even dies because of all the dogs running loose throughout the county.

 :yeah:
Not to mention all us hunters that are harrassed in Stevens by free ranging "pets".  It's almost impossible to go into the woods anymore south of Chewelah without running into dogs that will just as soon chase you as they will wildlife.

I just heard from a neighbor last night that a fawn was killed just outside our neighborhood by a couple of dogs that were running loose.  I saw a couple dogs along the road a couple weeks ago with their tongues hanging like they'd been chasing deer..........now I know that they really were. :bash:
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.
